Contacts and Bibliography

In the Construction of this site various institutions, family historians, local historians, and archive departments have helped me greatly. This is simply a list of all those which I have used in the research for the making of this website and the places in which all the sources have come form. Whether they held just one book I used, or piles of old documents, I have added all them anyway for any one out there who wishes to dig a bit deeper.

All of these places where of great help and all have very friendly staff who can point you in the right direction whether its family or local history your researching. However if you don't have the time to travel and would prefer to sit and read books about the Routledges, well I'm afraid there is no specific book about the surname unlike the Armstrongs and Elliots. But give me time and there will be...just watch this space!

Below are all the books I have used in the creation of this website, also all the sources and records which I used to research the Routledges. If you click on the ISBN number next to the books it will, if I available, take you to where they can be bought from.
