Utah pair killed on Hawaiian holiday leaves guiding 4 young children

A beloved couple from Utah has died in a vehicle accident while on trip in Hawaii, police and liked ones say. The two remaining guiding four kids, along with a “gigantic, gaping hole” in the globe.

Rebecca van Uitert and Jason Howell, equally 44, were being concerned in a three-motor vehicle collision on Jan. 30 though vacationing. A Toyota crossed the road’s divider line and struck the couple’s Jeep head-on, Hawaii police explained in a news release. A further automobile then crashed into the stopped Toyota. The couple’s four children have been with their grandparents in Utah at the time of the accident.
